Notes:  This track is about the overexposure to elements that can occur in any relationship.  It deals with issues like trust, love, honesty, and masked emotions.

Production Techniques:  A simple tracked out beat with touches of reversed reverb for some lead ins.  3x Track vocals with one down the centre and the backup tracks panned hard left and right.  Purposeful use of an eclectic mix of instruments from orchestral to synthesisers to electric guitar.

Lyrics:

Why’d you have to leave? There you go again

Walking out the door saying that you hate men

I’m not hearing it and I won’t pretend

Your only problem is inside your own head

Too exposed to your moods and your soul

Suckin’ in everyone to your black hole

Your eclipse was out of my control

Watch it swirl round like a tropic cyclone

The last thing I need is when you hassle me

I’m tryna live carefree, but it’s out of reach, see

‘Cause you always think you know everything about someone

Even if you don’t know the fact you treat it as one

Your forked tongue flicks lies, your dirty mood brings flies

You’re crying and you wonder why it lands on you every time

So unbalanced is a fit

Think of someone else a bit, you selfish piece of shit

The winds will come, the clouds will roll

To bring the rain to cleanse my soul

Drops off my back begin to flow

To feed the leeches off my toes

The cyclones whip up clouds of dust

To mask intentions with false trust

When the skies are bright and clear

The sun sheds light on all your fears

Empty smiles on every face

This sunburn controls my fate

And I just can’t wait for you

Empty smiles on every face

This sunburn controls my fate

And I just can’t wait for you

Blah-blah blah-blah blah-blah blah

Who the fuck you think you are?

Don’t throw rocks I’ll smash your glass

This time I won’t let it pass

Oh, I guess you’re sorry now, take it back

It doesn’t matter now, shoulda thought before you started that

Now you’re tryna stretch and squeeze me like a heart attack

But I won’t slouch, I stand tall like a top hat

You think a rough patch a good enough excuse

To go alone to the club and let it hang loose

A couple of drinks with a dude wearing pink

‘Till he sinks ya head in the pillow like a kids tooth

I don’t know if I can handle it

All this time building trust for you to go dismantle it

I suppose it’s probably good that it happened this way

Now I can look forward to find a brighter day

The winds will come, the clouds will roll

To bring the rain to cleanse my soul

Drops off my back begin to flow

To feed the leeches off my toes

The cyclones whip up clouds of dust

To mask intentions with false trust

When the skies are bright and clear

The sun sheds light on all your fears

Empty smiles on every face

This sunburn controls my fate

And I just can’t wait for you

Empty smiles on every face

This sunburn controls my fate

And I just can’t wait for you

Oh man, she’s calling again

Get a new number, I’m saying as a friend

Don’t let that bitch get inside your ol’ head

Come with me to the club we’ll get a new girl instead

Don’t worry ‘bout money, the drinks on the house

My mate’s on tonight, and he’ll help us out

Take my advice and forget about that chick

We’ll have a good time you’ll feel 100 percent

Alright mate, you’re probably right anyway

I shouldn’t be sitting round the house all day

Tonight we’ll go hard like a two part cement

We’ll get loose and do shit that we’ll both regret

Hey man, this club is about to ignite

Check out that chick over there who’s giving you the eye

Oh shit, I can’t believe she’s here with him

Look man, it’s that bitch ex-girlfriend

The winds will come, the clouds will roll

To bring the rain to cleanse my soul

Drops off my back begin to flow

To feed the leeches off my toes

The cyclones whip up clouds of dust

To mask intentions with false trust

When the skies are bright and clear

The sun sheds light on all your fears

Empty smiles on every face

This sunburn controls my fate

And I just can’t wait for you

Empty smiles on every face

This sunburn controls my fate

And I just can’t wait for you
